Tejashwi's life in danger ahead of '25 polls: Rabri
Hindustan Times Ranchi
|July 26, 2025
Former chief minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Rabri Devi on Friday alleged threat to life to her son and leader of the Opposition in the Bihar assembly Tejashwi Yadav.
Talking to mediapersons outside the Legislative Council building, Rabri Devi claimed that there had been four deliberate attempts to assassinate Tejashwi, asserting that his life was under severe threat. She directly accused the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal (United) coalition of orchestrating a conspiracy to eliminate him as Tejashwi’s popularity is rising and RJD is gaining greater influence in the run up to the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
“BJP and JD(U) are the ones conspiring... We know who is behind it,” she claimed, using strong language to label the alleged conspirators as ‘nali ke kide’ (gutter worms), intensifying the already charged atmosphere in the state's political landscape.
