NO-FLY ZONE OVER BARWADDAH AHEAD OF PREZ'S VISIT TO IIT (ISM)

The district administration has announced heightened security measures for the upcoming 45th convocation of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, which will be attended by President Droupadi Murmu, including the declaration of a “no-fly zone” in and around Barwaddah airstrip from 10 a.m. on July 31 to 6 p.m. on ‘August I, officials said on Friday.
According to a notification issued by Dhanbad deputy commissioner Aditya Ranjan, the restriction has been imposed under section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) to ensure foolproof security during the President's arrival and participation in the convocation ceremony.
