No jail for now: HC extends Rajpal's interim bail

Actor Rajpal Yadav was granted relief in the cheque bounce case on Wednesday, with the Delhi High Court extending his interim bail till April 1 and observing that he would not be sent to jail at this stage as he had made “substantial” payments.

Rajpal had surrendered on February 5 and was released from Tihar Jail on February 18 after paying ₹4.25 crore to Murlidhar Projects Pvt Ltd.
