Cong, RJD seek Vaishnaw's resignation over stampede

Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) held a condolence meeting at Ambedkar Chowk in Doranda on Sunday over the stampede incident at New Delhi railway station that led to the death of 18 people and demanded the resignation of Union railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

"Taking moral responsibility for the incident and failing to fulfil his duties, the railway minister should immediately resign and accept that this arrangement is beyond his capacity," JPCC general secretary Alok Kumar Dubey said while addressing the meeting.
