A review meeting of the Bihar Congress descended into chaos on Tuesday after a clash broke out between two groups of party workers at the party office in Madhubani, exposing continued internal divisions following the party's poor performance in the recent assembly elections.

Senior leaders like state unit chief Rajesh Ram and Shakeel Ahmad Khan were present in the meeting when workers clashed.
In the 2025 polls, the Congress had contested only two seats in Madhubani districts -- Benipatti and Phulparas. It lost both, leading to widespread disappointment and anger among local workers.
