Census 2027 online pre-test to start in Jharkhand's Mango from Nov 10

The state statistics department will conduct an online pretest for the 2027 Census between November 10 and 30 in Jamshedpur’s Mango area, the only municipal zone in Jharkhand selected for the exercise, officials said on Sunday.
"For the listing of houses and enumeration of households for the first phase of the 2027 Census, a pretest will be held this year. As per the directive of East Singhbhum deputy commissioner (DC) Karn Satyarthi, a training programme will be organised in Mango this month," Krishna Kumar, deputy city commissioner (DCC) of the Mango Municipal Cor
