Uproar in assembly over rape incidents, police welfare issues

A heated argument broke out in the state assembly on Tuesday as Congress leaders raised serious concerns over the rising incidents of rape in the state, particularly focusing on recent reports in Jaipur's Sanganer and Bundi district.
JAIPUR:
The issue was brought up during the Zero Hour by Congress MLA Harimohan Sharma, who highlighted the rape and murder incident in Bundi.
Leader of Opposition, Tika Ram Jully, criticised the situation, stating that a police officer in Sanganer was involved in the rape of a woman. "The protectors have turned into predators. If such incidents are happening in the chief minister's own constituency, one can only imagine the state of affairs in other parts of Rajasthan," he said.
