|July 07, 2025
Rajasthan’s minister of state for cooperation (independent charge) and civil aviation, Gautam Kumar Dak, on Sunday called for intensified efforts to expand the cooperative movement across the state, emphasizing financial inclusion, rural empowerment, and institutional reforms.
Speaking at the fourth foundation day celebration of the Ministry of Cooperation, Dak urged cooperative banks to open new branches and begin issuing non-agricultural loans to widen their impact and reach. Highlighting the vast potential of India’s largest decentralized grain storage scheme, he advocated for the construction of more warehouses, which could be leased to agencies like the NCCF, NAFED, and FCI to strengthen rural storage
