India built 3 bunkers near int'l border after Pakistan built bunkers in Zero Line: BSF DIG

Tensions have escalated along the India-Pakistan international border near Barmer after both countries constructed bunkers near the international border.
BARMER: The situation arose when Pakistan violated international border regulations by building bunkers close to the border. India strongly objected to the move, but Pakistan claimed that the structures were merely toilets.
"About a month and a half ago, Pakistan constructed two bunkers just 150 metres inside the Zero Line near the Gadra region of Barmer. BSF officials strongly opposed the move upon discovering it. According to international norms, an area within 150 yards of the border is designated as 'No Man's Land', where neither country is allowed to carry out any construction. Despite these regulations, Pakistan proceeded with the bunker construction," BSF DIG Rajkumar Basata told HT.
He further said that a flag meeting between Indian and Pakistani military officials was held last month, during which Indian officers raised objections regarding the bunkers. "In response, Pakistani officials claimed that the structures were not bunkers but toilets. Despite India's strong protests, Pakistan built another bunker along the border. India objected again and issued a warning, but Pakistan continued its activities, forcing India to take a firm stance."
