Accurate data key for making state a $350-bn economy: CM

Accurate and transparent data is crucial for achieving Rajasthan's goal of becoming a $350 billion economy, chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said on Sunday.
JAIPUR:
Addressing the 19th state-level Statistics Day, Sharma emphasized that statistics enable the government to meet public expectations and assess progress objectively. "Statistics is a vital tool through which the government can fulfill the aspirations and expectations of the people. Accurate data allows for objective assessment of progress towards set goals and helps take timely corrective actions," he said, while pushing for enhancing the quality, transparency and utility of data to realize the vision of a Developed India and a Developed Rajasthan.
