BHARATPUR:

"Hasim Mev was arrested by a special team of the Delhi Police during a raid in Gangora villa on charges of spying for Pakistan. He had previously travelled to Pakistan and had recently attempted to visit the country again. However, the plan failed due to a visa error," said a police officer, on condition of anonymity. Hasim is the brother of 35-year-old Kasim Mev who was arrested on Thursday.

Amid heightened surveillance along the India-Pakistan border, Delhi Police and intelligence agencies arrested Kasim from Deeg district on charges of spying for Pakistan on Thursday, triggering a series of coordinated raids to track his absconding relatives.
