Trident Group earmarks ₹1,000 cr capex for FY26

Home textiles major Trident Group on Friday said it has earmarked ₹1,000 crore capital expenditure for FY25-26 for sustainability, modernisation, and asset enhancement initiatives.

The group has also set a target of increasing its domestic business three-fold by 2027 with its home textile brand, myTrident, expanding into the luxury segment with the launch of 'LUXE-HOME by myTrident' label.
"We are going to invest ₹1,000 crore but out of that, almost ₹600-650 crore would be in the renewable-sustainability side, the remaining would be on modernisation side," Trident Group chief executive Samir Joshipura said on the sidelines of Bharat Tex 2025.
The group is converting 60% of the energy requirement at Budhni campus in Madhya Pradesh into a non-fossil base, he said adding, "we are going to increase from there".
