Two more accused in EOU net in CHO recruitment racket

The economic offence unit (EOU) of the state police has nabbed two more persons, including the main accused, in the alleged online exam racket related to the Community Health Officers (CHOs).
PATNA:
The duo were identified as Ravi Bhusan, a native of Ben police station area in Nalanda, while his associate as Shashi Ranjan alias Happy, and they were arrested late on Monday from Bhagwatnagar locality of Patna City, EOU officials said on Tuesday.
The Bihar government had, on December 2, 2024, cancelled CHO recruitment examinations after the EOU detected widespread irregularities and malpractices during the online test at three of the 12 centres in Patna.
The computer-based test (CBT) to fill 4,500 posts of CHOs were held in two sittings across 12 centres in Patna.
