Soren talks 2050 roadmap as J’khand marks 25th birthday

Chief minister Hemant Soren said on Saturday that his government was working on a development roadmap keeping in mind the next 25 years till 2050, to make development sustainable and in consonance with natural resources which are in abundance in Jharkhand — the credit for preserving which goes the adivasis and their forefathers who are the moolvasis (original inhabitants) of the country.

Addressing the 25th Statehood Day celebrations at Morhabadi grounds in the state capital in presence of governor Santosh Singh Gangwar as chief guest, the chief also recalled the contributions of the tribal icons including his own father, Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, who passed away earlier this year, underlining that the responsibility to take the state forward now lay with the present generation.
