Patna schools up to Class 8 to stay closed till Jan 15

All schools in Patna till class 8 will continue to remain closed till January 15 due to prevalent cold weather and low temperature prevailing in the district, particularly in the morning and evening, putting at risk the health and life of children, said an order by the Patna district magistrate (DM), Chandra Shekhar Singh, issued on Sunday evening.
PATNA:
Classes from 9 onwards will continue with due precautions between 9am and 3.30pm. Academic activities related to board examinations will be exempted, the DM's order said.
