Paras quits NDA, hints 'shift to INDIA'

Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) national president and former union minister Pashupati Kumar Paras on Monday announced his formal exit from the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) by accusing the NDA leadership of doing 'injustice' with him.
PATNA: Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) national president and former union minister Pashupati Kumar Paras on Monday announced his formal exit from the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) by accusing the NDA leadership of doing 'injustice' with him.
"I formally quit the NDA from today. I had been with NDA from 2014 till today honestly. But, I was ignored and NDA did injustice with us in 2024 Lok Sabha polls as we are a party espousing the cause of dalits. Despite that for the last 6-8 months, I stayed silent for the sake of the ruling NDA. Now, I have decided to quit the coalition formally," Paras said, while talking to newsmen after an event organised by his party at Bapu Sabhagar in Patna.
