New Terminal Building at Patna Airport to be Ready in April: Prasad

Patna Sahib MP Ravi Shankar Prasad of the BJP on Monday asked the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to improve air connectivity, increase passenger amenities, including resources for senior citizens, upscale cargo facilities, and ensure that the new integrated terminal building of the Jaiprakash Narayan International Airport was inaugurated by April this year, said a statement from Prasad's office on Monday.

"Once the new terminal building is ready in April, we will try to invite our Prime Minister to inaugurate it," said Prasad, while briefing the media at his residence in Nageshwar Colony after presiding over the meeting of the Patna airport advisory committee on Monday afternoon.

The meeting, supposed to be held every six months, was held after a gap of almost two years.
