Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticised the Congress at a Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas event in Dediapada in Narmada district on Friday, saying the party that ruled India for six decades “left tribal communities to their fate”.

He made the remark during a 35-minute public address after inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of develop- ‘ment projects worth over 9,700 crore in the tribal belt of south Gujarat.
