Filmmaker Mani Ratnam on directing a Hindi film in the future and shooting a Tamil film in Delhi
Filmmaker Mani Ratnam, known for delivering cinematic gems across Indian languages, last directed a Hindi film in 2010 — Raavan, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. When asked about his return to Bollywood, Mani doesn't dismiss the idea but shares how he has reservations about the industry moniker. "It could happen any time, but I just have an issue with it being called Bollywood all the time. It's really sad. The way I would like, is to do a 'Hindi film'," he tells us.
