Cong sanitary pad handout sparks row

Congress’ party's move to distribute sanitary napkins with photo of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on its wrap has stirred a row, with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) taking exception to free distribution of such packets among girls and women.
As part of the state wide campaign announced by the All India Mahila Congress (AIMC) president Alka Lamba, Bihar Pradesh Congress Party (BPCC) president Rajesh Kumar on Friday formally launched free distribution of sanitary pads at the party office.
Lamba was also present at the party office.
