Chirag says will contest Bihar polls, backs domicile job plan

Union minister and head of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Chirag Paswan, on Sunday announced that he would contest the upcoming Bihar assembly elections.
He made the announcement while addressing a rally in Saran district that borders his Hajipur Lok Sabha constituency.
Paswan also voiced his support for the introduction of domicile policy in government jobs in the state. He is the first NDA leader to do so.
“People have been asking me whether Chirag Paswan will contest the assembly elections. I want to announce from Saran that yes, Chirag Paswan will contest the elections for the sake of a better future of Bihar,” he said, evoking thunderous applause.
