Biden to Deliver Prime-Time Farewell to Nation on Wednesday From Oval Office

With just days remaining in his presidency, outgoing US President Joe Biden is taking a final opportunity to address the nation and reflect on his decades of public service.
WASHINGTON: On Wednesday evening, Biden will deliver a farewell address from the Oval Office, his last big chance to speak directly to the American people before President-elect Donald Trump is sworn in on January 20.
The farewell address comes after a series of speeches aimed at highlighting Biden's legacy and his vision for the future.
On Monday, Biden spoke at the State Department, focusing on his foreign policy achievements, including efforts to strengthen US alliances and promote democracy worldwide. Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the president's remarks would reflect on his "50-plus years as a public official" and his thoughts on the United States' role in addressing global challenges.
