23 fake seers arrested, say cops; total 93 in U'khand

Under Operation Kaalnemi, launched following the instructions of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday, we arrested 23 fake seers on the second day (on Saturday). Of these, 10 people are from outside. 48 persons have been nabbed in Dehradun and 45 in Haridwar so far.
Ninety-three fake seers have been arrested in two days across state under Opera tion Kaalnemi, police said, add ing that 23 were nabbed on Sat urday.
“Under Operation Kaalnemi, launched following the instruc tions of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday, we arrested 23 fake seers on the second day (on Saturday). Of these, 10 people are from out side,” said Ajai Singh, Dehradun senior superintendent of police (SSP), adding that 48 have been nabbed in Dehradun and 45 in Haridwar so far.
