Unidentified Individuals Scaled the Boundary Wall of the House and Threw Acid Through a Window
PATNA: In a quick breakthrough in the Begusarai acid attack case, police on Monday arrested two persons identified as Mehboob Alam alias Phultus (25) and Anjani Kumar Singh (45) in connection with the acid attack case. Anjani is a close relative and neighbor of the victim.
According to police sources, Anjani had hired Alam to commit the crime in order to take revenge against the victim, whom she wanted to be rendered unacceptable for marriage.
Police also recovered an empty acid bottle, cell phone, and clothes worn by the accused (Mehboob Alam) at the time of the incident.
