Roshanara's clubhouse to reopen for first time since DDA takeover

The Roshanara Club in north Delhi is set to make its return as a social hub, with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA)—in a first since its takeover of the club in 2023—planning to reopen the clubhouse and resume food and beverage (F&B) service after months of restricted activity.
NEW DELHI:
The 103-year-old club, established during the British era, had remained partially functional since DDA took over from private management. While its cricket, tennis, and swimming facilities continued to operate on a pay-and-play basis, core hospitality services had been suspended. Historically exclusive to its members, the DDA opened access to the general public after assuming control.
