NEW DELHI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet in its probe into illegal human trafficking from India to the US via the illegal ‘donkey’ route, alleging that the traffickers collected the money from clients and remitted abroad through ‘hawala’, the agency said on Thursday.

Dharamshala resident Sunny and Delhi resident Shubham Sandhal alias Deep Hundihave been named in the charge sheet. The duo was arrested in July. The mastermind of the syndicate, Gagandeep Singh alias Goldy, was arrested by the agency in March.
