MP urges Rahul to unite secular forces

KOCHI: CPI(M) Rajya Sabha MP John Brittas on Sunday exhorted his India bloc ally and Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi to “unite secular forces in the country instead of creating divisions between them”.
Brittas' remarks in Delhi, where he attended an all-party meeting, came a day after the Rahul Gandhi spoke about him “fighting the RSS and CPI(M) ideologically and in the realm of ideas” on the sidelines of the second death anniversary of former chief minister Oommen Chandy in Kottayam district of Kerala.
