Casual viewers might know Manasi Parekh was the star of shows such as Gulaal and Sumit Sambhal Lega (2015). But years after she shot to fame with Hindi television, the actor has carved out a niche for herself in her home state, Gujarat.
With critically acclaimed regional films and a National Film Award to her name, Parekh is over the moon. "It's been an amazing year," says the actor whose horror comedy Jhamkudi earned ₹25 crore at the Gujarati box office. Parekh also became the first artiste to win the National Award for Best Actr
