Hania Aamir alleges assault by event organisers in the US

Pakistani actor Hania Aamir has accused the organisers of a meet-and-greet event in Dallas (US) of verbal assault.

Aamir, who attended the event with her co-star, Fahad Mustafa, had left abruptly, leaving fans disappointed. She took to social media on Thursday to explain her sudden departure.

The 27-year-old said that everything was fine initially, when she was taking pictures with her fans. She wrote: "When I was going back to my seat, I heard one of the organisers verbally abuse my manager...I told the man that he could not speak to her like this. She was distraught, so she went backstage. I followed her to make sure she was okay..."
