Dubai airport rattled, flights disrupted after drone strike

A drone struck a fuel tank at the Dubai International Airport early on Monday, halting operations at the aviation hub, which gradually resumed flights later in the day, before suspending landings for all foreign carriers in the evening, forcing jets to return or land at other airports, in a day of chaos that further upended air transit through West Asia and highlighting the mayhem that the conflict in the region has caused.
