8 Delhi schools get hoax bomb threat, day after alert in 30 others

NEW DELHI: At least eight schools in Delhi received hoax bomb threats via email on Saturday morning, marking the third such incident this week and the second consecutive day of alerts.
This follows similar threats targeting 30 schools on Friday and 44 on Monday, police said.
The affected schools on Saturday included Delhi Public School in RK Puram, Ryan International School in Vasant Kunj, Gyan Bharti School in Saket, and Amity International Schools in Delhi and Noida.
The emails, received around 6am, triggered multi-agency searches by Delhi Police, bomb squads, dog squads, and Delhi Fire Services.
No suspicious items were found, and the threats were declared hoaxes.
