50 families flee Nuh after burning death

GURUGRAM: At least 50 families locked their houses and fled with valuables in Laharwadi village of Punhana, Nuh, fearing unrest, detention and clashes after a mob burned a 24-year-old woman to death on Friday evening in rivalry between two families, police said on Sunday.
Police said they detained a dozen suspects and were questioning them to trace others who were on the run. They are carrying out raids across Nuh and at Rajasthan border to nab the suspects. Inspector Jangsheer, station house officer at the Punhana police station, said that the village wore a deserted look on Sunday as at least 50-51 houses are locked.
