5 Dead, 4 Injured as Lorry Hits Autos in Warangal

Five people were killed and four others sustained injuries on Sunday after an iron-laden lorry lost control and rammed into two auto-rickshaws carrying passengers, causing the iron bars to fall on the vehicles, in Warangal district of Telangana, police said.
WARANGAL:
According to police, the accident took place on the Warangal-Mamnoor road near Mamunur, and the lorry overturned on the side of the road and fell on the autos, killing four people on the spot. Traffic on the Warangal-Khammam highway was disrupted for about two hours after the accident.
