MUMBAI: The police have arrested a couple from Ghatkopar for allegedly killing the woman's father as he did not approve of their live-in relationship.
The arrested accused were identified as Sonali Bait, 37, and her partner Mahesh Pandey, 28, who allegedly assaulted and killed Shankar Kamble, 58, following an argument.
According to the police, Bait's younger brother, Rahul Kamble, informed them on Wednesday night that his sister and her live-in partner had brutally assaulted his father near a restaurant in the MIDC area, which eventually led to his death.
