Bommai Calls Bickering Within K'taka BJP 'Unfortunate', Urges Factions for Restraint

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lawmaker and former Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday expressed displeasure over the internal bickering within the party's state unit and urged both factions to exercise patience and resolve differences through dialogue under the guidance of senior leaders.
BENGALURU:
In a statement, which comes amid growing discord within the BJP state unit, the Lok Sabha MP from Haveri expressed confidence in the party's top leadership to address the situation. "I strongly believe that the central leadership will immediately focus on the developments in Karnataka BJP, hold discussions with all key leaders, and make an appropriate decision," he said.
