Rajasthan pile on Delhi’s misery with tons of runs

Hosts Rajasthan added to Delhi’s miserable season by piling up 570/7 declared in Rajsamand. Sachin Yadav's 130 and KS Rathore’s 102 were followed by Mahipal Lomror’s unbeaten 128 and Kartik Sharma's 120 as Rajasthan ran Delhi bowlers to the ground by batting for 161 overs and two full days. Delhi were 8 for no loss.
Mumbai rode on Siddhesh Lad’s career-best 170 an Akash Anand’s 107 not out to piled up 630/5 declared on Day 2 of their Ranji Trophy Elite Group D clash against Pondicherry in Mumbai on Monday. Skipper Shardul Thakur's triple strikes then reduced Pondicherry to 43/4.
In Hubli, Ravichandran Smaran’s unbeaten 227 guided Karnataka to 547/8 against Chandigarh in Group B. Resuming on their overnight 298/5, Smaran’s 14-run sixth wicket partnership with Shreyas Gopal (62) and other stands down the order boosted the innings. Gopal’s three wickets then reduced Chandigarh to 72/4 at stumps.
