Uttar Pradesh women script big win, enter semi-finals

Spirited Uttar Pradesh continued their winning streak in the Women's Under-23 One Day Trophy on Friday, scoring a comfortable eight-wicket win over Hyderabad to set up a semi-final clash with Madhya Pradesh on Monday at Guwahati.
LUCKNOW:
It was a superb all-round performance by everyone in the side as first the bowlers dominated the proceedings after being asked to field first as they managed to get Hyderabad out for 202 and thereafter, batters did the job nicely, taking the side home with 34 balls to spare.
Making the run chase easy, openers Tripti Singh and Sampada Dixit stitched together 78 runs for the first wicket. Dixit was first to go as she was bowled by Kesari Drithi after scoring 56-ball 30, which contained three hits to the fence.
