Leggie Chawla Calls Time on Career

Uttar Pradesh's one of the top-most cricketers of his time and leg-spinner Piyush Chawla on Friday announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.
LUCKNOW:
A member of India's 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup-winning squads, Chawla represented India in three Tests, seven T20Is and 25 ODIs, picking up 43 wickets across the three formats.
Aligarh's Chawla has now been doing commentary for TV and happens to be the joint third-highest wicket-taker in the cash-rich Indian Premier League history, having taken 192 scalps in 192 matches, and won one title with Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014. Most recently, the leg-spinner played for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024.
