HC Seeks State's Reply on PIL for Creation of Over 9k Courts in U.P.

The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad high court has sought a counter-affidavit (reply) on three points from the state government within two weeks in the matter of creation of 9,149 courts in Uttar Pradesh.

The counter-affidavit should be filed by a responsible officer not below the rank of principal secretary law/additional chief secretary finance, UP, the court also directed.
