Er Rashid moves Delhi high court against order denying parole

Jammu & Kashmir MP Abdul Rashid Sheikh, alias Engineer Rashid, has approached the Delhi high court against the city court's order denying him custody parole to attend the ongoing Parliament Budget session.
NEW DELHI:
The second leg of the session began on Monday and will conclude on April 4.
In his petition listed before a bench of justices Prathiba M Singh and Rajneesh Kumar Gupta on Wednesday, the Baramulla MP, who has been in custody since 2019 in connection with a terror funding case, has urged the court to either grant him custody parole from March 12 till April 4 or release him on interim bail.
The parliamentarian has approached the Delhi high court against city court's March 10 order, asserting that the same is "erroneous".
