Cyber fraud committed in name of advanced course in cyber security

A unique case has been reported in Prayagraj about cyber fraud committed for providing an advanced course in Cyber Security.

Interestingly, the victim, a resident of Georgetown area of the city, is himself a PG student in cyber security from Boston University and is an engineer by profession.

On the complaint of the victim's mother, the police have registered an FIR (first information report) in Georgetown police station and are engaged in investigation.

According to the complaint, Reena Bose, her son Pratik Bose used to work in Kolkata, West Bengal for about eight years after doing B.Tech from Kalinga University, Odisha.
