Complex housing PMO to be called Seva Teerth

The new complex housing the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) — currently in the final stages of completion under the Central Vista Redevelopment project — will be called ‘Seva Teerth’ (service pilgrimage), senior government officials said on Tuesday. The complex was earlier known as the ‘Executive Enclave’.

Seva Teerth is among the final major components of the Central Vista project, which includes the new Parliament building, the redevelopment of Kartavya Path and three new secretariat blocks designed to consolidate central ministries currently housed across ageing or scattered buildings. Over the past year, several ministries have begun shifting in phases into the new Kartavya Bhavans.
