Biopsy samples of 77-year-old patient go 'missing' at RMLIMS

In what appears to be a case of negligence, a 77-year-old patient, Ram Sewak, will have to undergo a painful and costly biopsy procedure once again after the samples collected for the test went "missing" at Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS) in Lucknow.
LUCKNOW:
Ram Sewak, 77, underwent a biopsy at RMLIMS for suspected prostate cancer and his samples in 12 containers were sent to the hospital lab.
However, the lab report, a copy of which is with HT, revealed that the containers they received were empty, and no tissue samples were found.
