325 shuttlers for state U-19 c'ship

Around 325 shuttlers from all parts of the state would be seen in action in the UP State Under-19 Junior Major Badminton Championship, beginning Thursday, at the Uttar Pradesh Badminton ‘Academy here.
The three-day championship, which offers Rs 1 lakh as prize money, is the selection tournament to pick the UP team for the East Zone Championship, scheduled to be played in Jharkhand. Organising secretary, Anil Dhyani states that 300-325 boys/girls from across the state have confirmed their participation in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.
All players should contact referee Ravindra Chauhan at 8:30 a.m on Thursday as the matches start at 9.00 a.m.
