In today's highly competitive academic environment, rankings serve as a key indicator of quality to help students and parents make an informed decision while identifying a university of global standing for getting world-class education for a bright career.

This way, the QS World University Rankings—the most comprehensive and trusted ranking based on evaluation of 8,467 institutions—shine a light on the best higher educational institutions from across the world.

The latest edition of QS World University Rankings 2026, based on data from over 16 million academic papers, insights from more than 151,000 academicians and 100,000 employers, has once again brought to light the best universities across the world.

Not surprisingly, Chandigarh University—India's leading private university—has once again made impressive strides in the prestigious QS World University Ranking 2026 by ranking among the world's top 2% universities.
