Man Kidnaps 24-Year-Old for ₹20L Ransom, Held

Two men were arrested on charges of kidnapping and extorting a 24-year-old man in Barmer district, police officers aware of the matter said on Saturday, adding that a third accused is absconding.
BARMER:
Police said the accused — Hukma Ram Jat (54), the father of a friend of the victim, and Devendra Chaudhary (22) — were arrested on Friday night.
According to police, victim Sataram Jat received a WhatsApp message on the night of June 21 from an acquaintance, a woman, who invited him to Shivnagar to meet her.
