Age never seems to weary majestic ginkgo guards

Ginkgo trees flank the Vajra Throne Pagoda at the Beijing Stone Carving Art Museum.

These trees more than 600 years old, and each of whose branches span over more than 2 metres, guard the ancient structure with timeless grace.

Since autumn began to set in in September the site has been a magnet for visitors, with thousands arriving each day to capture photos and admire the trees' golden leaves.
