IN 2020 POLLS, THE HIGHEST TURNOUT WAS RECORDED IN SEELAMPUR AT 71.22%, FOLLOWED BY MUSTAFABAD AT 70.55%, AND GOKULPUR (70.51%)
NEW DELHI: Of the 70 constituencies in the Capital that went to polls on Tuesday, Mustafabad in northeast Delhi recorded the highest voting turnout at 69.01%, followed by Seelampur at 68.71% and Gokulpur at 68.29%, data shared by the Election Commission of India on Thursday showed.
In terms of parliamentary constituencies, Northeast Delhi also recorded the highest voting turnout at 66.25%.
However, the percentage was lower as compared to the February 2020 elections, when 68.58% voter turnout was recorded in Northeast Delhi. In the last elections, the highest turnout was recorded in Seelampur at 71.22% followed by Mustafabad at 70.55% and Gokulpur at 70.51%.
