25-yr-old man held for rape, murder of minor

A 25-year-old man was arrested for the alleged rape and murder of a 14-year-old girl in Tavarekere area on the outskirts of Bengaluru, police said on Thursday.
“The incident took place when the girl, a class 6 student, was alone at home on Wednesday. Her parents, daily wage labourers from Koppal district, were away at a construction site.
