In a verdict that underscores the severity of crimes against minors, a 29-year-old man was sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for the remainder of his life by a POCSO court in Palwal on Tuesday.
GURUGRAM: The conviction stems from the repeated rape of his 13-and-a-half-year-old niece, a crime that shocked the community and highlighted the devastating breach of trust within a family. The court also imposed a fine of ₹10,000 on the convict.
